Having spent years on separate, soul-searching journeys
we - world travellers and self-taught artists
came together
to realize that our soul connection was the search for meaning and truth. Inspired by our encounters, our travels, icons and gurus
that we have met along the way
our work is a culmination of experiences.
Earth Aura Creations
was conceptualized and created
out of our respect for the healing arts, yoga and sacred symbols
With a vision to express beauty and healing at the same time -
we use narratives found in everyday life
and transform these teachings into jewellery.
Each design is inspired by a journey
in our respective lives.
Our extensive gemstone collection is the fruition of careful and contemplative selection from gemstone markets and mineral shows from around the world. We strive to provide an exquisite selection of individually hand- picked stones for customers who have an allure for the beauty of organic forms as well as an appreciation for their energy.
When we began working with stones - we explored alternative stone-setting techniques. Although we appreciate the beauty of metal gem settings, our goal, from the beginning, was to offer something unique. Seeking a design that felt lighter, earthier and organic brought us to the art of macramé . Using the art of knot-tying, or macramé, we set each gemstone in a waxed cotton ‘frame.’ Many tiny little knots keep the stone in place . Each piece is designed by hand - with much care and attention to detail. Macramé is a soul healing art - a meditative process and a bridge between ancient art and modern style.
